The image on the right is the first draft on my Digipak and clearly it has a very unprofessional and amateur. I feel this is due to the placement and the amount of items on the poster itself thus I decided to take a more simplistic approach. After photographing a group of boys for our Digipak who clearly were to young to be our band i decided to create a silhouette of them. I feel this adds a sense of mystery to the band and also aids the reveal of the indie genre. I feel this second draft is a lot more successful due to the placement of the items however, I have removed the promotional competition due to the lack of space. In order to improve this I want to continue to play with the placement of items on the poster in an attempt to find a place for it.
