Editing
In order to continue keeping our music video on track we decided to use our time to edit some footage for our music video and additional content which could be used to fill in the gaps if were lacking any footage. Three mini scenes where edited today and i'm currently experimenting with pace to make them look as professional as possible.
Digipak
In order to improve on my digipak I decided to change my tracking list and the background image. Since changing my Digipak I feel the back panel no longer fitted with the rest of the layout therefore I decided to change it. Another issue with the was the fact the bar code wasn't in the right place which was a major issue as it make the digipak look unproffesional. In order to improve I used an image from our music video of the background which can link to the front cover whilst still expressing the indie genre. As for the writing as it can be seen in the first image it appeared to be vanishing into the background and to improve on this I started out by changing the font.
I decided to replace the original font with this one which I feel has an artistic style to it which compliments the background well. This font was also easier to edit on photoshop due to the spacing it meant chunks of the writing wasnt removed when deleting the white background. However, I also had the same issue of the writing merging in with the background again so I added an outer glow effect onto it to make the writing more distinct. I also think this made it look more professional and added a cartoonish feel to the writing which aided the animation theme of the digipak.
