Applying Goodwin's theory to our video

1) CONNECTION BETWEEN MUSIC AND VISUALS

- Man playing guitar during instrumental section of song.

- Pace of visuals fits with tempo of the music

2)CONNECTION BETWEEN LYRICS AND VISUAL

- Models actions follow the lyrics e.g 'I really love your hair do' whilst a girl's hair is shown growing and suddenly the model gets love hearts on his eyes.

3) GENRE CHARACTERISES

- Live performance featured and close up shots of the band

- Narrative music video

4) NOTION OF LOOKING

- Man walking across a mirror, audience can see in the mirror.

5) INTERTEXTUAL REFERENCES

- References other 90's bands

6) DEMANDS OF THE RECORD LABEL

- Close up shots of the models

Changes required to address Goodwin

- Add mirror scene to ensure there is a motion of looking.

- reference oasis, car in a swimming pool album cover for intertextual referencing.

- Maybe reference the Italian job have a car chase with red, white and blue mini's.

- Focus on the 'coolness' of being British.
